To the initial purchaser AC Aquatics offer a 2 year Guarantee against failure of the aquarium seal and structural strength. Where a seal does fail during the first 2 years a full investigation will be undertaken to determine the cause. Structural strength covers suitable support bracing to which the aquarium will hold water pressure to its intended height. Please see Warranty and Liability exceptions

AC Aquatics offer a 1 year Guarantee against our own aquarium furniture. Please see warranty and liability exceptions.

Full proof of purchase must be provided to validate a warranty claim.

Where a valid claim is made prior to 30days from the exchange date covered items are warranted as a refund or replace policy against the specific item or items in question. After 30days from the exchange date an offer of repair is offered. AC Aquatics* offer a good as new repair, if this is proven to be unachievable a replacement will be manufactured within 20 working days from the warranty validation date.

Movement/Placement from the transport vehicle is at customers own risk, if deemed necessary suitable safety measure should be put in place to minimise possible injury from transporting glass.

Product placement is not covered under AC Aquatics* liability responsibilities. Product placement assistance may be offered as a gesture of goodwill but always at customers own risk. Any damage caused during placement is typically covered under standard household insurance. AC Aquatics* accept no responsibility to damage of household items or any physical injury caused as a direct result of placement.

Any shortages or damages must be noted at the time of delivery.

If plumbing is mis-bought we offer a no quibble moneyback guarantee minus the original outward postage costs (assuming items are returned in as new / unusued condition)

All items must be returned via recorded delivery to assure they are recieved and booked in correctly.

It is the responsibility of the person accepting the goods to inspect and sign for them. To sign “unchecked” gives no re-dress if at a later date you find the goods you recived have been damaged in transit or placement. For your own protection please inspect goods on before signing.

Prior arrangements are made for taking delivery. Where upon arriving unsuitable conditions dictate and in turn result such items being returned a delivery charge will still be charged along with a re-delivery charge.

The customer is responsible for arranging adequate man power upon delivery, approximate weights can be given upon request.

Deposit payments are made typically @ 50% of the total Proforma balance. Deposit payment is confirmation that you the customer has agreed to all T&C’s. All deposits are non refundable based upon a bespoke built to order basis. Customer order alterations can be made at our discretion and may lead to additional costs being incurred by the customer. Alterations may be rejected after 4 working days from order. If alterations have been made and accepted this can also delay the order.

Where a refund is due in any circumstance please allow up to 30days from authorisation.

All items remain the property of AC Aquatics* until paid for in full.

Full balance must be paid prior to dispatch.

All lead times are approximate and delays beyond our control can occur. We accept no liability where arrangements or stock deliveries or the like have been made prior dispatch which has then subsequently been delayed.

AC Aquatics* aquarium warranty and liability exceptions:

Seal failure caused by external/internal chemical contamination or sharp instrument contact

Glass fracture, inadequate support or placement, misuse, mishandling or direct base contact.

Damage caused where a suitable soft substrate has not been used between aquarium and base

(AC Aquatics* always recommend the use of 10mm+ polystyrene)

Leakage from a tank connector seal of any sort (Always use adequate sealant if concerned)

Structural support damage caused by misuse, mishandling or damage from direct base contact.

All reported problems must be inspected by our own manufacturing team to assess. If any problems arise an as new repair will be given after 30 days from delivery. Within this time scale a replacement will be offered.

If an aquarium needs to be returned for inspection AC Aquatics* accept no liability against the storage or safe keeping of live stock.

AC Aquatics Furniture Exceptions:

Support breakdown caused by water or moisture build up

Aquarium hood / Pelmet damage where moisture build up has been the cause

(Always use condensation covers or equivalent)

Excessive movement caused by uneven placement

Excessive relocations which cause weakening of the furniture joints.

Misuse, neglect & normal ware and tear

Accidental damage.

(Such incidents are typically covered under home insurance)
